This is an absolutely great family portrait, taken around 1913.  Luke Coyan was a first cousin to my great-grandfather, William Coyan. I doubt that they ever met one another, since Luke lived in Oklahoma and my great-grandfather spent his entire life here in Jackson, Ohio. From left to right are: Jeanette Belle (lower left), Delpha (top left), Luke Edward, son Hugh John, son Edward Luke, Josephine Amer Coyan, and Hubert Amer Coyan. Luke and Josie's 2nd oldest child, Edna Mae, had passed away at the age of 4 - in 1906 - before this picture was taken.
